A portable nail drill is the quickest way to take on shaping, smoothing and removal at home or on the move. This rechargeable e-file packs a handpiece, a battery-powered control unit and a starter set of bits and sanding bands into one kit, with a dial that goes from 0 to 45,000 RPM so you can work gently or fast.

The control unit is about the size of a phone, so it sits on the table next to you or travels in a bag. A digital display shows the speed and the battery level, and a forward and reverse button lets you work comfortably whichever hand you use.
