Tungsten Carbide Nail Drill Bit Sets: 3, 5 or 10 Pack
These tungsten carbide nail drill bits are made for electric nail drills and come in three sets: 3 bits, 5 bits or 10 bits, with grits from extra coarse to extra fine. The table below shows exactly which bits are in each pack.
Different jobs call for different grits. Coarser bits remove more material and are suited to shaping and bulk removal, while finer bits finish and smooth. Having a range lets you move from shaping to refining to polishing without changing your whole routine.
What is in each pack
| Pack | Number of bits | Exactly which bits |
|---|---|---|
| 3-pack | 3 | 1 coarse, 1 medium, 1 fine (plain finish) |
| 5-pack | 5 | 1 each of extra coarse, coarse, medium, fine and extra fine (plain finish) |
| 10-pack | 10 | The same 5 grits in plain finish (1 each) plus the same 5 grits in gold finish (1 each) |
The drill itself is not included. Use these bits only with a compatible drill.
Which pack should I choose?
- 3-pack: try the most used grits (coarse, medium and fine), from shaping to smoothing.
- 5-pack: the complete grit range, from extra coarse to extra fine, for natural nails, gel and shaping.
- 10-pack: the full range in two finishes, plain and gold.
Why you will like it
- Tungsten carbide bits for electric nail drills.
- Grits from extra coarse to extra fine, so one pack covers shaping through finishing.
- Gold finish available in the 10-pack.
- For shaping, filing, polishing dead skin and removing calluses, as described on the page.
- Sets of 3, 5 or 10 bits, so you can start small or get the full range in two finishes.
How to use
- Switch the drill off and loosen the drill clip.
- Insert the bit and lock it securely.
- Start with the lowest speed and a light touch, moving the bit continuously over the area.
- Work on dead skin and protrusions; for hard calluses, work on both sides.
- Switch off, remove the bit and clean it before storing.
Good to know and care
Stop use if redness or irritation occurs. Keep the bits sealed and away from direct sunlight, out of reach of children. Clean the bit after each use and store it in a bit box so the teeth stay protected. If you are new to electric drills, practice on a practice hand or a tip before working on a real nail.
Frequently asked questions
What does each pack include?
The 3-pack has 3 bits: 1 coarse, 1 medium and 1 fine. The 5-pack has 5 bits: 1 each of extra coarse, coarse, medium, fine and extra fine. The 10-pack has 10 bits: those same 5 grits in plain finish plus the same 5 grits in gold finish, 1 of each.
Which pack should I choose?
Choose the 3-pack to try the most used grits, the 5-pack for the complete range from extra coarse to extra fine, or the 10-pack for the full range in two finishes.
What is the difference between plain and gold?
Both finishes come in the same five grits, from extra coarse to extra fine. The 10-pack includes one bit of each grit in plain finish and one of each grit in gold finish.
What grit should I start with?
Finer grits are gentler and easier to control, so many beginners start there and move coarser only when they need to remove more.
What are tungsten carbide bits?
They are drill bits made of tungsten carbide, used with an electric nail drill for shaping, filing and smoothing.
Will these fit my drill?
Use them only with a compatible drill. Check the chuck or clip size of your machine against the bit before ordering.
