Glow in the dark nail pigment powder turns a normal gel manicure into a night-time reveal. Under room light the color is soft and pale; switch the lights off and the nails light up in green, blue, violet or warm neon. It is the kind of effect people ask you to show again.

These sets are built as color families so the look is planned for you: a cool trio, a warm trio, or all six bags together. Each bag holds 10 g of loose powder, which is plenty for many manicures because you only tap a small amount onto each nail.

What is in each set

  • Cool Trio: three 10 g bags in yellow green, sky blue and purple.
  • Warm Trio: three 10 g bags in pink, red and orange yellow.
  • All Six: all six bags, so you can mix cool and warm on one hand.

The photos show each powder next to its glow, so you can see the daylight color and the glow color side by side. Gel color, base, top coat, a lamp and a brush are not included.

Who it is for

  • Beginners: the powder is pressed into tacky gel, so there is no painting skill involved.
  • Hobbyists: festival, party and Halloween sets, or a single glowing accent nail.
  • Nail artists: a quick add-on for clients who want a look that changes with the light.

How to use it

  1. Apply base coat and cure it under your UV/LED lamp.
  2. Apply your color gel and do not cure it yet.
  3. Pour or press the powder onto the tacky gel, then brush off the extra.
  4. Cure the nail under the lamp.
  5. Seal with top coat and cure again.

The powder can also be used without a lamp, but it takes longer to dry. For the strongest glow, hold the nails under a bright light for a moment before you turn the room lights off, as you would with any glow pigment.

Design ideas

  • Dip an accent nail fully in the powder for a solid glow.
  • Paint a stripe or a half moon in gel, add powder only there, and keep the rest of the nail dark.
  • Try yellow green over sky blue for a two-tone glow.
  • Use the warm trio under a clear top coat for a neon sunset look.

Good to know

  • The powder is a decoration for the surface of the nail, so seal it fully with top coat.
  • Glow strength and how long it lasts depend on the amount of powder and how much light it has taken in.
  • Colors on a screen can differ a little from the real powder.

Frequently asked questions

Does it glow without a lamp?

It glows in the dark after it has taken in light. The lamp is only for curing the gel underneath, not for the glow.

Can I use it with any gel polish?

It is pressed into the tacky layer of regular gel color or clear gel, then cured and sealed with top coat.

What do the bags look like in daylight?

Most look pale or pastel in daylight and show their strong color in the dark. The photos show both.

How much powder is in a bag?

Each bag holds 10 g of loose powder.

Can I mix the colors?

Yes. Mix a little of two colors in a small dish before you press it on, or layer them on one nail.
