Dual forms let you sculpt an extension in one pass: you fill the clear form with gel or acrylic, press it onto the prepared nail, cure and lift it away. The form sets the shape and the length, so the result is even from one nail to the next.

This box holds 75 clear forms in five shapes and fifteen sizes, so you can match the nail wall of almost any finger and choose a shape for the look you want.

What is in each box

Gel, acrylic, base coat, a lamp and tools are not included.

  • 75 clear dual forms in a divided plastic box.
  • Five shapes: square ultra, almond ultra, stiletto, classic curved and short square.
  • Fifteen sizes, numbered 0 to 14, from 52 mm long and 15 mm wide down to 40.5 mm long and 6.5 mm wide.
  • Length markings printed inside every form, so you can set the length you want.

Why you may like them

  • The form builds the shape for you, which saves filing time.
  • A thin cuticle area with a thicker back keeps the form stable while you work.
  • Made of flexible ABS plastic and intended for repeated use, as long as you clean the form after each nail.
  • A wide size range, from broad to narrow nail beds.

How to use dual forms

  1. Prep the nail: clean, buff and push back the cuticles, then apply a thin base coat.
  2. Choose a form that fits the nail width and fill it with a thin layer of gel or acrylic.
  3. Press the form onto the nail, with the gel covering the nail fully and no air bubbles.
  4. Cure under your lamp for gel, or let acrylic set, then remove the form.
  5. Trim, file and shape, then apply top coat and cure.

Good to know

The number printed on the forms may appear in one of two styles, for example 0 or 0m, because both versions ship. The forms are the same size either way. Each form is clear so you can see the gel while you press.

Frequently asked questions

What are dual forms?

They are clear forms that you fill with gel or acrylic and press onto the nail, so the form shapes the extension.

Can I use gel and acrylic?

Yes. The forms are intended for both gel and acrylic.

Can I reuse them?

They are described as reusable. Wipe the form clean after each nail and keep them in the box.

Do I get all five shapes?

Yes. One box contains five shapes in fifteen sizes.

Do I need a lamp?

For gel, yes: you cure the gel under your lamp. Acrylic sets without a lamp.
